. A long time ago it was divided into 50 States. The flag has 50 stars, they represent the States. Each state has different weather, different population. Each state has its own coat of arms. I want to tell you about one of the States. It's called Pennsylvania. It is Centralia, it 50 years ago under the ground started a fire.Half a century ago, a landfill fire in the Pennsylvanian town of Centralia spread underground to an abandoned coal mine.The blaze has been burning beneath the community ever since.Fears about toxic gases and dangerous sinkholes led the authorities to evacuate more than 1,000 people from the town in the 1980s. Around 500 structures were demolished as part of the multi-million dollar federal relocation scheme.Over 30 years, the population has decreased 100 times. More than 1,000 residents left Centralia, for the year 2013 the population is only 9 people
